Product Owner (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Leiden, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands; must live within commuting distance of Leiden.

What you will do

• Own the merchant integrations domain and refine and prioritise the product backlog.
• Shape business epics and user stories and translate complex requirements into clear functional designs.
• Guide development of key capabilities, including ongoing AI enhancements and integrations with Shopify and Adobe Commerce.
• Support the development team throughout sprints by clarifying requirements, managing scope, reviewing completed work, and contributing to retrospectives.
• Partner with UX on usability improvements and align with other Product Owners to strengthen product ways of working.

Requirements

• Experience in product, business analysis, or project management within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Understanding of product ownership fundamentals, including product lifecycles, roadmaps, user story writing, and backlog management.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodology, sprint cycles, and Scrum ceremonies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Must live within commuting distance of Leiden.

Nice to have

• E-commerce or marketplace experience.
• Technical knowledge of software development, APIs, integrations, or platform architecture.
• Experience with AI/ML product features.

Hiring process

• Recruitment screening call followed by video meetings with Product colleagues and the Director of Product.
• Final office visit to meet the CPTO.
