TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands

Salary: Up to €6,000 gross per month

What you will do

  • Own the Billing product area end-to-end, defining the vision and prioritizing the product backlog.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure solutions meet global accounting and tax standards.
  • Design secure and scalable payment and invoicing systems supporting multiple currencies and providers.
  • Drive automation of billing operations to reduce manual reconciliation and improve cash collection.
  • Define and track KPIs for billing health, such as DSO and reconciliation rates, to inform prioritization.
  • Manage integrations with external ERPs and accounting systems to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Manager specifically within billing, payments, or finance products.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and VAT/GST.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the Rotterdam office.
  • English: C1 level (excellent communication) required.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating with payment gateways, acquiring banks, or ERP/accounting systems (AP/AR).
