Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Onsite at 3808 N Sullivan Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99216, USA; Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm

Salary: $22.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on maintenance level, plus benefits

What you will do

• Install, repair, inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot industrial production equipment.
• Perform routine, preventative, emergency, and advanced maintenance using root cause analysis.
• Clean and lubricate equipment components, replenish fluids, and maintain forklifts and company vehicles.
• Assist with equipment installations and manage critical spare-parts inventory and vendor quotes.
• Support and train other maintenance technicians on complex maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with production, operations, and engineering to respond to machine issues affecting plant operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintenance I: one year of repair and maintenance experience or a related technical school or associate degree.
• Maintenance II: three years of repair experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Maintenance III: six years of repair and maintenance experience, or a technical/associate degree plus four years in a maintenance-related field.
• Ability to read equipment drawings and manuals and use hand tools, multimeters, precision tools, torches, and plasma cutters.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 25–75 pounds occasionally; personal protective equipment is required.

Nice to have

• Welding experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Electrical systems knowledge.
• Forklift and manlift operation certification.
