Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Boca Raton, Florida, United States; onsite 5 days per week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Hourly rate: $28–$35 per hour, with potential eligibility for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on ultrasonic and radio-frequency welders, laser cutters, air compressors, deionizing air guns, photographic cameras, heat sealers, and related systems.
• Develop and track preventive-maintenance schedules with Engineering and optimize maintenance protocols.
• Troubleshoot unplanned equipment issues and communicate problems promptly.
• Execute machine upgrades and testing while maintaining production quality.
• Implement maintenance logs, standard procedures, best practices, and operator-led maintenance tasks with Engineering and Production.
• Identify process and equipment improvements through root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant maintenance technician experience.
• Hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a deadline-sensitive environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English, plus basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds and work around machinery noise and warehouse temperature fluctuations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is validated through e-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience as a mechanic, service technician, machinist, or in a similar role.
• Associate degree in machining or welding technology, mechatronics technology, or facility/industrial maintenance technology.
