Assistant General Counsel (Healthcare)

Location: Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $157,900–$315,900 per year

What you will do

• Provide legal analysis and practical legal advice supporting business objectives and healthcare operations.
• Advise internal clients, including senior-level management, on complex strategic matters.
• Monitor business activities, laws, regulations, and developments affecting the organization.
• Draft and review business agreements, legal filings, and other legal documents.
• Evaluate legal risks, coordinate guidance across departments, and represent company interests externally.
• Manage special projects and outside counsel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.).
• Active state bar license required; Washington license preferred or obtainable within the first 12 months.
• At least 7 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate setting serving business clients.
• Strong command of general legal principles and ability to advise on complex regulatory matters.

• Healthcare or insurance experience.
• Expertise in legal and regulatory issues related to healthcare delivery systems and provider networks.
