Insurance Service Representative - Gainesville, FL

Location: Gainesville, Florida, United States; onsite office environment

Salary: $23.00–$25.50 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Support members with insurance policy questions, product information, billing, coverage, renewals, and complaints.
• Process applications, policy changes, endorsements, amendments, transfers, payments, reinstatements, and cancellations.
• Prepare insurance quotes, apply underwriting rules and eligible discounts, complete sales, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Promote insurance, membership, financial, credit card, travel, and life products and refer customers to agents when appropriate.
• Conduct outbound service, retention, and promotional calls regarding delinquent payments, renewals, and cancellations.
• Support office events and community activities that increase product awareness and insurance revenue.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required state licenses and appointments.
• Ability to complete Customer Service, Insurance, and Membership training within six months of hire.
• Knowledge of insurance terminology, regulations, underwriting procedures, sales compliance, and monetary transactions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a high-volume environment, including weekends, holidays, and community events when needed.
