Insurance Placement Specialist

What you will do

• Evaluate current customer coverage against quotes received through the insurance marketing process.
• Develop carrier relationships and negotiate with underwriters and brokers to secure suitable terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Review market responses and shape insurance program recommendations for producers.
• Oversee the accurate and professional preparation of customer proposals.
• Finalize sold programs and bind coverage with selected carriers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property/casualty carrier appetites, coverage, programs, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Florida 2-20 license required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and standard industry offerings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
