Software Development Engineer IV (C#)

Location: Hybrid role based on the campus in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States

Salary: $135,600–$230,500 per year

What you will do

• Define, design, and implement enterprise software features focused on quality, usability, performance, and data-informed decisions.
• Provide technical leadership, implementation oversight, and guidance to development teams and business, architecture, and customer stakeholders.
• Review code, approve technical and architectural documentation, oversee vendors, and ensure adherence to standards and governance processes.
• Monitor project KPIs, analyze delivery metrics, and make recommendations to improve software outcomes.
• Participate in live-site operations, production changes, incident fixes, testing, and continuous engineering automation.
• Mentor engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to the broader developer community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of software development experience, including SDLC knowledge and proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Deep hands-on expertise across multiple technologies and experience building stable, scalable, high-performance enterprise systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, mentor less experienced engineers, and lead enterprise implementations.
• Ability to perform primarily sedentary work, keyboard regularly, and communicate clearly in person and by telephone.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience as a technical lead delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Expert knowledge of C# and SQL, plus experience with Azure or other cloud solutions.
• Experience with AI technologies, API and service-based technologies, automated testing, and agile environments.
• Experience owning medium- to high-complexity enterprise cloud applications or working in healthcare or another regulated industry.
