Software Development Engineer II - C# and Azure Cloud

Location: Arlington, TX or Irving, TX, United States. Hybrid arrangement with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote per week.

What you will do

• Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
• Migrate products to public cloud environments and experiment with cloud implementation approaches.
• Build, test, and deploy software through automated pipelines while improving pipeline quality and speed.
• Contribute to test automation, peer reviews, security controls, and Agile Scrum improvements.
• Maintain a production-first focus on scalability, uptime, and rapid triage and resolution of production issues.
• Collaborate across teams, troubleshoot complex problems, and promote software development best practices.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Expertise in the programming languages and technologies required by the product team, including C#/.NET, Java, or Go.
• Experience with scalable data and query optimization, automated testing, test data management, and security controls.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, databases, scripting, and software delivery tools.
• Employment sponsorship is not available, including H-1B, TN, L1, and OPT visas.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
