Salary: $136,000–$204,000 USD annually

What you will do

  • Lead a team of analysts responsible for integrated engine hardware and subsystem analysis.
  • Perform thermal, structural, dynamic, fatigue, and fracture analyses for Aeon-R engines and subsystems.
  • Analyze 3D-printed engine components, complex mechanical assemblies, and fully integrated engine structures.
  • Generate interface loads using engine assembly finite element analysis models to support hardware sizing.
  • Develop and execute development and qualification tests, including test article integration, instrumentation, and data processing.
  • Collaborate with propulsion, materials, design, and manufacturing stakeholders while guiding projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, technology, mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant analysis experience, preferably with complex engineering systems.
  • Experience mentoring others and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Experience with finite element analysis and computer-aided design software.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to deliver on ambitious schedules.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience designing liquid propulsion components and systems.
  • Experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or ANSYS Workbench.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and aerospace standards.
