Applications Consultant (Workday)

Location: Remote from the United States; occasional travel may be required for meetings, collaboration, or team-building activities. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Annual salary: $107,036–$140,000, with annual bonus potential based on performance.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy complex integrations between Workday and third-party systems using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Develop Prism Analytics data pipelines, datasets, transformations, reports, dashboards, and Discovery Boards.
• Configure Workday business processes, security roles, calculated fields, and custom objects across HCM and Financial Management modules.
• Research and resolve Workday technical issues, provide production support, and maintain data integrity.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver projects on schedule and budget.
• Participate in Workday semi-annual releases through impact analysis, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, or supporting complex information systems and integrations.
• Experience with distributed, mainframe, or web-based systems, databases, programming languages, prototyping, and database design.
• Knowledge of relational databases, object-oriented design and programming, systems operations, security controls, web servers, and IP-level distributed technologies.
• Experience providing technical leadership and consultation to project teams, coordinating project teams, and managing budgets and expenses.
• Ability to work remotely from a home office in the United States, with occasional travel if required by leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or another service industry.
• Experience with RUP, JAD/RAD techniques, or database modeling.
