1099 Workday Administrator

Location: Remote from the contiguous United States; contractors may work from any contiguous U.S. state.

Compensation: $65 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Build and configure Workday Business Processes, condition rules, notifications, security groups, domain security, and business process security.
• Develop and maintain reports, calculated fields, dashboards, EIB data loads, and mass data updates.
• Perform data audits, validation, reconciliation, discrepancy investigation, and data quality remediation across Workday and connected systems.
• Monitor Workday releases, perform impact analysis and regression testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Support incidents and service requests from intake through resolution, provide technical support and training, and assist with Workday-related audits.
• For the integrations focus, support EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio integrations, APIs, web services, scheduled feeds, vendor interfaces, and the Workday Projects module.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on Workday administration experience and Workday HCM certification.
• Experience configuring Business Processes across multiple Workday modules, building reports, and performing data loads and migration.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and agile project methodology skills.
• For the Payroll, Benefits & Talent focus: hands-on Payroll and Benefits administration experience.
• For the Integrations, Studio & Projects focus: Workday Studio and integration development experience with EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and web services.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future, and may need to pass a government background check or security clearance.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro or Workday Partner Certifications relevant to the focus area.
• Advanced reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and RaaS experience.
• Third-party enterprise systems integration experience and experience in a high-growth or consulting environment.
