Manager, Component Test & Infrastructure (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Louisville, Colorado, United States. Travel up to 10%.

Salary: $145,920–$191,047 base salary per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead component test, RF test, and test automation engineers supporting spacecraft production and development programs.
• Own acceptance testing and verification for electronic assemblies, RF hardware, and spacecraft subsystems.
• Develop test strategies, procedures, automated test systems, software, and data analysis tools.
• Investigate test failures and anomalies and improve product testability, manufacturability, and verification coverage.
• Own ground support equipment, representative test beds, flatsats, hardware simulators, and test infrastructure lifecycle planning.
• Establish test-system architecture, documentation, KPIs, calibration programs, and capacity-improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical, or systems engineering, physics, or a related technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 6+ years.
• Experience leading engineering teams in aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Experience developing and executing hardware verification and acceptance test programs.
• Strong knowledge of electronic, RF, electromechanical systems testing, automated test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
• Experience with test software, automation frameworks, ground support equipment, and troubleshooting complex hardware and test systems.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements, including U.S. Person status or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with spacecraft, launch vehicle, RF communications, radar, or aerospace hardware programs.
• Experience developing flatsats, hardware simulators, or spacecraft test beds.
• Experience managing calibration systems and laboratory assets.
• Knowledge of spacecraft subsystem architectures, on-orbit operations, and environmental testing.
• Experience scaling test infrastructure for production environments.
