What you will do

• Own avionics system-level integration, design validation, testing, and operations.
• Coordinate testing of avionics systems and subsystems, including power validation, fault tolerance and isolation, vehicle networks, and software validation.
• Develop vehicle-level CONOPs, go/no-go criteria, system automation, and operator manuals.
• Support the development and operation of integrated avionics system testbeds.
• Support on-console test operations and data reviews during stage-level testing and launch operations.
• Work with the avionics design team to troubleshoot issues and improve testing infrastructure.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with integrated systems testing, flight testing, hardware or software design validation, or hardware-in-the-loop test platforms.
• Understanding of engineering requirements capture and verification and validation test planning.
• Experience testing, validating, and troubleshooting complex integrated electrical and software systems.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for data acquisition, recording, and analysis.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with wire harness design tools such as Zuken.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as NX and Teamcenter.
• Familiarity with PCB design modeling tools such as Altium Designer.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, UART, SPI, and other communication protocols.
