What you will do

• Design and maintain dbt models that encode business logic, metric definitions, and dimensional structures.
• Build and administer the Amazon QuickSight environment, including data connections, SPICE datasets, refresh schedules, access controls, and performance.
• Architect the QuickSight layer for a five-domain dashboard program and lead the Mode-to-QuickSight migration.
• Build data quality tests, validation checks, and monitoring for the internal analytics agent and downstream users.
• Design payor outcomes reporting packages covering clinical outcomes, utilization summaries, and quality indicators.
• Evaluate LLM-assisted BI tools and design datasets suitable for human and AI-agent querying.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong data-modeling experience.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, including models, tests, DAG management, dimensions, and facts.
• Experience with Amazon QuickSight or a comparable BI platform.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with business stakeholders to understand domain context.
• W-2 employment and work authorization verification through E-Verify are required for new hires.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical data, healthcare outcomes metrics, or payor reporting.
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or AI inference infrastructure.
• Experience in HIPAA- or SOC 2-compliant data environments.
• Experience migrating between BI platforms such as Mode, Looker, or Tableau.
