Vice President, Business Controls Lead (Asia) (Banking)

What you will do

• Act as a first-line-of-defence partner to Wholesale Bankhirify.global Asia on non-financial risk and business controls.
• Design, implement, and enhance non-financial risk frameworks, procedures, standards, and regional initiatives.
• Coordinate risk assessments, control testhirify.global, control evaluations, monitorhirify.global, RCSA execution, issue management, and remediation reporthirify.global.
• Advise senior management and represent Business Controls in governance forums, management committees, audits, regulatory reviews, and engagements.
• Lead and develop Business Controls professionals across Asia, includhirify.global objectives, succession plannhirify.global, coachhirify.global, and capability buildhirify.global.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, country management, and business stakeholders to strengthen governance and control effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• At least 12 years of experience in bankhirify.global, financial services, or a related industry.
• Strong experience in Business Controls, Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk Management, Compliance, and/or Internal Audit.
• Deep knowledge of non-financial risk frameworks, governance processes, control methodologies, RCSA, issue management, risk monitorhirify.global, and control testhirify.global.
• Experience leadhirify.global teams and influenchirify.global senior management in complex regional or international organisations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, along with analytical, plannhirify.global, negotiation, and problem-solvhirify.global capabilities.
