What you will do

• Provide expert advice and support to entities regarding 1st line Business Control and Non-Financial Risk (NFR) management.
• Conduct risk assessments, track issues, and monitor the execution and quality of controls.
• Act as a sparring partner for stakeholders to simplify NFR concepts and build balanced risk awareness.
• Coordinate with Control Owners to ensure effective implementation of risk-mitigating measures in business processes.
• Align regional and local implementation plans with requirements set by the Head Office.
• Monitor progress of risk assessments and report roadblocks to local and global Risk and Control functions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Banking, Business Control, Risk, or Internal Audit.
• Proven experience in conducting Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Assessments.
• Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience working within an international or global financial institution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence business decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a 3 Lines of Defense environment.
• Knowledge of assessing levels of Residual Risk after mitigating controls.
