Loan Support Specialist III (Banking)

Salary: $18.00–$30.00 per hour, with possible performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Perform loan servicing activities, including loan maintenance, payment processing, data entry, document creation, lien perfection, escrow and tax support, flood review, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Process complex consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loan transactions while following documentation, regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements.
• Respond to internal and external customer requests and provide timely service across multiple departments.
• Capture, analyze, and review report metrics to support workflow coordination and adjustment.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements and participate in cross-department project teams.
• Act as a loan servicing subject matter expert, guiding, coaching, mentoring, and training colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of advanced consumer, SBA, or commercial/business loan servicing experience, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of lead experience or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial loans, loan regulations, policies, and procedures, including applicable Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, and Regulation E requirements.
• Advanced mathematical, analytical, multitasking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under high volumes and critical deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, loan servicing systems, and other office equipment, plus strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
