Business Banking Business Lending Specialist

What you will do

• Support business banking customers and internal Retail and Business Banking partners with lending-related questions and issues.
• Review and process portfolio management requests, loan and modification applications, closing documentation, and funding requests.
• Evaluate qualifying criteria and verify that loans meet program, regulatory, and policy requirements.
• Maintain accurate loan documentation, account records, data entry, and system information.
• Use approved tools and websites to complete due diligence and monitor reports for risk-related issues.
• Provide backup coverage for team members and escalate customer complaints or risk issues when required.

Requirements

• Associate degree and at least 2 years of customer service experience in banking, retail, or credit, or 4 years of combined relevant education and work experience including 2 years of customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and professional discretion.
• PC proficiency and comfort with key software applications.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure with sound judgment.
• Ability to follow risk, regulatory, compliance, and internal control standards.
