Project Manager (UAV)

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of UAV prototyping projects from design reviews through hardware testing and validation.
• Coordinate daily work across UAV Prototyping Engineers, CFD Specialists, leadership, suppliers, and test facilities.
• Track milestones, schedules, resources, and sprint goals against technical priorities.
• Identify and mitigate technical, project, and supply chain risks that may delay prototyping.
• Maintain project documentation, configuration management, and design updates.
• Optimize prototyping processes to increase iteration speed while maintaining defense-grade quality standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of project management experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech hardware prototyping.
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, rapid prototyping, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project and strong documentation practices.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearances.

Nice to have

• Experience with UAS or missile systems.
• Knowledge of defense quality standards such as ISO 9100 or AQAP.
• Technical background in mechanical or systems engineering.
