Project Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead and develop project teams to ensure effective execution and performance.
• Act as the primary interface for programme management, customers, and suppliers.
• Plan, monitor, and control technical progress, schedules, costs, and risks.
• Ensure transparent communication and regular status reporting across all stakeholders.
• Define work packages and manage resource allocation in coordination with HR and line management.
• Implement and drive risk management processes and mitigation activities.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering (aerospace preferred), physics, or industrial engineering.
• Several years of experience as a project manager or sub-project manager in the space sector.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Experience with Earth Observation programmes or ESA projects is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Planisware.
• Willingness to travel as required by project needs.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as IPMA.
• Experience in procurement, systems engineering, or related project functions.
