Project Manager (Science, Exploration and Space Safety)

What you will do

• Manage proposals, studies, and projects in Phases 0/A/B1, taking responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
• Support the preparation and implementation of mission and system proposals.
• Analyse, define, and agree project requirements with teams and customers.
• Lead negotiations with customers, potential partners, and suppliers.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure efficient collaboration and delivery.
• Maintain relationships with clients and act as a liaison with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in aerospace, engineering, or a related field.
• Significant project management experience with Phase 0/A/B1 projects, preferably in science, exploration, or space safety.
• Significant experience working with ESA as a customer.
• Knowledge of space projects, including systems and operations.
• Proven ability to prepare compelling proposals, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English required; German fluency is an advantage.
