Project Manager (Software Implementation)

Location: Germany; hybrid options with remote work within the EU

What you will do

• Plan, manage, and deliver customer implementation projects from initiation through completion, meeting scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, escalations, audits, health checks, and governance reviews.
• Drive customer value realization and sustainable project outcomes.
• Develop and improve project management standards, templates, methodologies, controls, and reporting structures.
• Act as a key user for Salesforce and Certinia, improve project workflows and reporting, and deliver internal training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, business informatics, natural sciences, informatics, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional project management experience, preferably in software implementation, consulting, or professional services.
• Experience leading customer-facing projects with responsibility for scope, budget, timeline, and quality.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, project controls, risk management, reporting, and multi-project environments.
• Experience with PMO structures and frameworks such as PRINCE2, PMI, or Agile.
• Fluency in German and English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HR, time management, workforce management, resource planning, or scheduling.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving organizational improvements beyond individual projects.
