Project Manager (Site Development & Infrastructure)

hirify.global is a European fusion company developing the hardware and infrastructure for commercial stellarator fusion power plants, with teams in Munich, Zurich, and Oxford.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of site development and infrastructure projects, including schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholders.
• Turn feasibility studies, masterplanning inputs, and concept briefs into delivery-ready plans with milestones, gates, and resource requirements.
• Manage relationships with site owners, local planning authorities, and specialist consultants.
• Lead site development workstreams and infrastructure siting preparation for first-of-a-kind fusion programmes.
• Integrate site development schedules and risks into the Alpha Integrated Master Schedule.
• Identify dependencies and interface risks across assigned projects and the wider Alpha programme.

Requirements

• Project management experience in site development, industrial, or infrastructure projects from early concept through execution.
• Ability to structure ambiguous early-stage projects and create credible delivery plans from incomplete briefs.
• Experience managing complex relationships with site owners, local authorities, and planning bodies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different maturity levels.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
• Background in civil engineering, site development, industrial facilities, or energy infrastructure is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with first-of-a-kind or early-stage programmes.
• Familiarity with AI tools and digital working methods.
