AIT Senior Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Munich, Germany. Frequent travel to production, test, and launch locations, mostly across Europe, is required. Relocation assistance is available, including visa sponsorship where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead the Assembly, Integration and Test project for the Nyx Earth vehicle, defining scope, deliverables, milestones, interfaces, and readiness criteria.
• Coordinate the integration of spacecraft subsystems, software, ground support equipment, facilities, engineering, manufacturing, quality, safety, suppliers, and launch services.
• Plan and manage functional, performance, environmental, and mission-level testing, including test-site and launch-site preparation.
• Develop and control the AIT schedule, budget, resource plan, critical path, dependencies, and schedule margin.
• Monitor supplier readiness, deliveries, technical maturity, documentation, and acceptance criteria, leading recovery actions when required.
• Manage risks, non-conformances, deviations, waivers, anomalies, corrective actions, change control, and transparent reporting to program stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in project or program management.
• Experience leading AIT, AIV, system integration, verification, or test campaigns.
• Experience managing complex spacecraft, launch vehicle, aircraft, or other safety-critical hardware projects.
• Technical background in spacecraft AIT, systems engineering, requirements verification, environmental testing, test facilities, ground support equipment, and launch-site activities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and willingness to travel frequently, mostly across Europe.
