Loan Support Specialist IV (Commercial Loan Servicing)

Location: Irvine, California; onsite role

Salary: $18.00–$30.00 per hour, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Perform loan servicing activities including loan maintenance, payment processing, data entry, document creation, lien perfection, escrow and tax support, flood review, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Oversee moderate to highly complex consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loan transactions and documentation.
• Provide timely service and responses to internal and external customers, including bank staff, customers, escrow and title personnel, attorneys, and other professionals.
• Analyze daily metrics, organize workflow assignments, and ensure accurate completion within deadlines.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements and participate in specialized cross-department project teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert, coach and mentor colleagues, and train others across Loan Support Services functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience handling highly complex or specialized consumer, SBA, or commercial/business loans.
• At least 1 year of lead, supervisory, or management experience, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial loans and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, and Regulation E.
• Advanced math, analytical, multitasking, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, loan servicing systems, and office equipment.
