Financial Consultant

Location: Remote from a home office in the United States; occasional office attendance may be required for important departmental meetings or team-building events. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually, plus annual bonus potential based on performance.

What you will do

• Provide expert financial advice, guidance, and counsel for business objectives and decisions.
• Research, evaluate, and interpret complex financial and statistical data using advanced financial techniques and tools.
• Lead the financial components of large, complex projects and department initiatives.
• Develop, design, test, and document financial system changes, upgrades, analytical systems, and reporting tools.
• Prepare financial implications analyses for reorganizations, benchmarking, reporting changes, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Coordinate with business partners, internal departments, and external organizations on audits, benchmarking, examinations, and related services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
• Experience equivalent to a senior position in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience developing complex financial models, automated forecasts, budgets, business plans, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
• Ability to analyze complex financial and technical data, identify problems, develop sound conclusions, and communicate results clearly.
• Experience designing and implementing medium-to-large projects and complex corporate or finance initiatives.
• Strong organizational, planning, time-management, written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Consulting.
• Experience with IRR, NPV, ROI, payback analysis, capital budgeting, forecasting, and project financial oversight.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Adaptive Planning, or similar financial planning tools.
• Experience with capital governance, investment committees, enterprise transformation, post-implementation reviews, or benefits realization assessments.
