Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Remote eligible, with the listed location in Anchorage, Alaska, United States.

Salary: $89,265–$148,180 per year.

What you will do

• Own planning, budgeting, forecasting, and outlook cycles for assigned business areas.
• Build and enhance financial and driver-based models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, variance narratives, performance metrics, and insights.
• Evaluate business cases, investments, operational decisions, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional business teams to validate assumptions and reconcile data.
• Lead improvements in finance processes, reporting frameworks, automation, data quality, and AI tool adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance, or a related area, including at least two years of financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, dynamic charts, macros, and task automation.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting procedures and GAAP, with strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L/EBITDA driver knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, provide functional leadership, and mentor junior staff.
• Remote workers must comply with applicable remote work policies and agreements; occasional travel may require reliable transportation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• CPA or CFA certification.
• Experience with Oracle or an equivalent accounting system.
• Telecommunications experience or relevant telecom certifications.
