TL;DR
Integration Technician II, Stage Integration, Second Shift (Aerospace): Assembling, installing, and testing Terran R flight hardware with an accent on aerospace mechanical operations, fastener and torque applications, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations. Focus on performing critical integration work, operating calibrated hand and pneumatic tools, and collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams during rocket development and production.

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Onsite second-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. PT, with a 50-hour workweek including 10 guaranteed overtime hours.

Hiring range: $27.20–$40.80 USD per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

  • Assemble, install, and test flight hardware for Terran R development and production.
  • Perform critical aerospace mechanical operations with high attention to quality and detail.
  • Set up and operate hand, pneumatic, calibrated tools, and measuring devices.
  • Collaborate with production, integration engineering, and quality teams.
  • Help build, develop, and document job operations and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Work in tight spaces and climb ladders while handling flight hardware.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or experience in a related field.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations.
  • Technical experience with fastener and torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics, and bonding operations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in Long Beach, California, on the specified second-shift schedule.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in tight spaces.

Nice to have

  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.
  • Electromechanical build proficiency.
  • Familiarity with propulsion systems and components.
