What you will do
- Stage, assemble, test, and install flight hardware and vehicle components.
- Integrate secondary structures, avionics, propulsion systems, and pneumatic systems into primary vehicle structures.
- Use calibrated precision tools, mechanical tools, personnel platforms, and heavy rigging equipment.
- Read engineering drawings, work instructions, procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
- Perform fluids and pneumatic testing and provide design feedback to production engineers.
- Develop and document integration processes while completing work safely and on schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- At least 2 years of professional propulsion, mechanical, automotive, electrical, or avionics hardware installation experience.
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or another high-reliability operating environment.
- Knowledge of pressure, temperature, and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines.
- Ability to operate machinery and hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity.
- Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export control requirements.
Nice to have
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
- Experience with forklifts, cranes, and heavy transport equipment.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and Microsoft Office.
