Fluids Technician II/III - B Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global headquarters in Long Beach, California, United States. Monday–Friday, B shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts may be required.

Base pay range: $25–$40 USD per hour. Level and base salary depend on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

What you will do

• Build fluids system sub-assemblies for the Archimedes engine.
• Set up and operate CNC tube-cutting equipment.
• Perform tube bending, flaring, fit-up, preparation, and assembly according to drawings and project specifications.
• Work to applicable aerospace and industry standards.
• Support daily production operations and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Fluids Technician II: 2+ years of tube-shop experience in aviation, aerospace, or a similar industry.
• Fluids Technician III: 5+ years of tube-shop experience in aviation, aerospace, or a similar industry.
• Experience with tube-bending machines and BLM tube benders.
• For Level III, experience with Inconel, titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and close tolerances is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• U.S. work authorization or eligibility for the authorizations required under ITAR regulations is required for U.S. office roles.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours on a production floor and work around noise, moving machinery, and varying environmental conditions.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting experience.
• Hands-on CNC tube-bending experience.
• Expertise operating BLM tube benders.
• Experience maintaining close tolerances and handling Inconel, titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel.
