Senior Avionics PCBA Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite manufacturing work

Salary: $34–$51 USD per hour

What you will do

• Assemble and manufacture PCBAs for development, testing, and ground equipment.
• Perform quality checks and visual inspections of PCBs and PCBAs according to industry standards.
• Rework development and flight PCBAs.
• Support electromechanical assembly production by integrating PCBAs into mechanical enclosures.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a soldering technician working with application-critical, high-complexity PCBAs.
• Certification in industry-standard soldering practices.
• Experience with electrostatic discharge handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to comply with health and safety requirements, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher in electronics, avionics, or a related field.
• Current or previous IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, or similar certification.
• Expertise in fine-pitch soldering, rework, and repair of complex PCBA assemblies.
• Experience working in a dynamic, high-pressure aerospace environment.
