What you will do

• Perform complex assembly of electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace and defense systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings and visual aids to assemble, modify, or rework units.
• Hand-load and solder PCB assemblies following IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards.
• Repair soldering anomalies using lead and lead-free solder under a microscope.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous process improvement.
• Participate in offsite training and maintain required industry certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship (required due to national security contracts).
• 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification to IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Hollister, CA up to 75% during the first 90 days.
