Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $16.50–$29.50 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

  • Perform complex assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace and defense systems.
  • Interpret visual aids, engineering drawings, and written instructions to assemble, modify, and rework units.
  • Hand-load and solder PCB assemblies, including fine-pitch components, under a microscope using lead and lead-free solder.
  • Identify and repair soldering anomalies while following IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Attend offsite training to maintain required industry certifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to national security contracts.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify electronic component values.
  • Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 certification or willingness to obtain it is required.
