Licensed Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

Location: On-site at the IL-Lockport Walmart location in Lockport, Illinois, United States

Starting pay: $23.00–$25.50 per hour, based on experience.

hirify.global provides membership, travel, insurance, financial services, and roadside assistance to members and customers across the United States through AAA and affiliated brands.

What you will do

• Answer insurance inquiries, explain product features and service advantages, and resolve member and customer complaints.
• Service insurance policies and process applications, renewals, endorsements, amendments, coverage changes, transfers, and cancellations.
• Prepare insurance quotes, apply underwriting rules and eligible discounts, complete sales, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Process insurance and membership payments, conduct retention calls, and contact members about delinquent payments, reinstatements, and cancellations.
• Refer customers to agents and promote insurance, membership, financial, credit card, travel, and life products.
• Support office events, community activities, records maintenance, and general agency administration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
• Ability to qualify for, obtain, and maintain all required state licenses and appointments.
• Experience providing customer service, explaining billing and coverage information, processing transactions, and supporting insurance sales.
• Knowledge of insurance terminology, regulations, underwriting procedures, sales compliance, and monetary calculations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, handle a high-volume environment, make outbound calls, and complete required training within six months of hire.
