Customer Service Representative (Commercial Insurance)

What you will do

• Respond to client inquiries and manage inbound and outbound service calls.
• Handle policy changes, renewals, certificates, ID cards, and assigned service requests.
• Support billing questions, payment processing, premium collection, and premium finance agreements.
• Prepare, review, and process insurance documents while maintaining accurate client records.
• Verify invoicing accuracy, follow internal procedures and carrier requirements, and support renewal strategy.
• Identify additional coverage opportunities to address uninsured or underinsured exposures.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• At least 1 year of commercial lines account management experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• Ability to work with modern, technology-focused agency management systems.

Nice to have

• Equivalent work experience or a college degree.
• Experience with commercial insurance markets and carrier relationships.
• Experience supporting marketing, renewals, or new business placement.
