Personal Line Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

What you will do

• Respond to customer inquiries about existing policies, coverage changes, new policies, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, billing, and payments.
• Handle personal account renewals, service requests, policy endorsements, mortgage changes, and customer escalations.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience focused on retention.
• Solicit customer referrals and identify new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Document renewal, sales, and insurance compliance activities in agency management systems.
• Attend meetings, follow agency procedures, support knowledge sharing, and maintain required industry and licensing knowledge.

Requirements

• Property & Casualty Producer Insurance License in good standing.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of personal lines insurance, including home, auto, umbrella, watercraft, and collections.
• Experience handling renewals, service needs, escalations, endorsements, mortgage changes, auto ID cards, payments, and billing questions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
