PRN Medical Assistant - Arcadia, IN

Location: IN-Arcadia, United States; onsite clinic role

Pay range: $19.00–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review and update patient health information and record accurate data in medical records.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Handle scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and external care coordination.
• Process test results, conduct patient outreach, and support individualized care plans.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
