TL;DR
Senior Integration Technician, Subassemblies, Second Shift (Aerospace): Assembling, installing, and testing flight hardware for the Terran R reusable rocket with an accent on aerospace manufacturing, fastener and torque applications, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations. Focus on operating calibrated hand and pneumatic tools, documenting job operations, and performing critical integration work in tight spaces and a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite second shift, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM PT

Salary: $33.20–$49.80 USD per hour, plus a 10% shift differential and 10 guaranteed overtime hours per week

What you will do

  • Assemble, install, and test flight hardware for Terran R through development and production.
  • Perform critical integration operations while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production, integration engineering, and quality teams.
  • Build, develop, and document manufacturing job operations.
  • Operate hand, pneumatic, calibrated tools, and measuring devices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware and critical operations.
  • Technical experience with fastener and torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics, and bonding operations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in tight spaces.

Nice to have

  • 4+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related experience.
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.
  • Electromechanical build proficiency.
  • Familiarity with propulsion systems and components.
