Sr. PMO Intake & Governance Lead (Project Portfolio Governance): Developing and implementing centralized intake management and portfolio governance for technology initiatives within the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office with an accent on reporting consistency, risk identification, and process standardization. Focus on analyzing intake quality, eliminating governance gaps and duplication, managing PMO tools and metrics, and coordinating stakeholders across project delivery.
Location: Toronto, ON β Toronto-81 Bay, 21st Floor. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do
- Develop and implement project portfolio governance and centralized intake management for CDAIO technology initiatives.
- Review intake requests for quality and technical completeness, resolve discrepancies, and identify delivery barriers with stakeholders.
- Standardize and improve PMO tools, processes, reporting, metrics, capacity planning, and time-management practices.
- Identify inconsistencies, duplication, overhead, governance deficiencies, and potential non-compliance with standards.
- Manage project and intake status reporting, coordinate with Project Managers and CDAIO partners, and administer Planview, SharePoint, and other PMO tools.
- Facilitate governance meetings, chair discussions, and present reports and materials to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in technical project management or intake governance, ideally in financial services or technology.
- Experience in a Project Management Office, portfolio management, operational risk, or governance environment.
- Advanced communication skills with team members, managers, business partners, and executives.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with IT service management applications, JIRA, ticketing workflows, Planview, SharePoint, and PMO tools administration.
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables, plus PowerPoint for presentation decks; Power BI experience is beneficial.
