Maintenance Technician III (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in San Antonio, Texas, United States. Full-time work with Monday–Sunday availability, 24/7 rotating shifts, extended hours, and occasional overnight travel.

Salary: USD $30.90 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain manufacturing processes, production equipment, building systems, and facility equipment in optimum condition.
• Operate, repair, replace, and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, HVAC, and welding systems.
• Work with motors, relays, transformers, PLCs, PID controllers, PC boards, input-output modules, pumps, valves, refrigeration systems, and related controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lockout/tagout, system inspections, fault isolation, and repairs in accordance with safety and electrical requirements.
• Read and create blueprints, schematics, system diagrams, and refrigeration or steam documentation; design equipment and plant-system modifications using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with technical and parts-support specialists and train and guide other mechanics.

Requirements

• Required maintenance experience, including electrical, mechanical, and equipment repair in building or process environments.
• Experience completely disassembling, repairing, improving, and reassembling process equipment for reuse.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plant mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and HVAC systems, including relevant codes, standards, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.
• Knowledge of PLC and control-system programming, PC boards, relays, input-output modules, AutoCAD system design, and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to perform Heliarc welding and read blueprints and schematics.
• High school diploma or GED and a current refrigeration license required.
