Systems Administrator (Windows/VMware)

Location: Springfield, Virginia; US Citizenship required. Active TS/SCI clearance and an adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph are required prior to start.

What you will do

• Administer and secure Windows Server environments, enterprise services, accounts, groups, permissions, and access controls through Active Directory.
• Operate and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, infrastructure, system performance, and custom software.
• Plan, test, install, configure, integrate, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and supporting subsystems.
• Administer VMware virtual environments and support enterprise storage and cross-domain systems.
• Use Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for software deployment, patching, configuration management, and endpoint administration.
• Use Microsoft System Center Operations Manager for monitoring, alerting, health management, and operational reporting while collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of professional systems administration, infrastructure administration, or system security administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, enterprise storage, and complex infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.
• Experience supporting cross-domain solutions or similarly controlled environments.
• US Citizenship, active TS/SCI, and an adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph are required prior to start.
• A customer-approved Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP certification is required.

Nice to have

• Windows Server hardening, Group Policy, patch management, vulnerability remediation, STIGs, RMF, or security configuration experience.
• PowerShell or another administrative scripting language.
• DNS, DHCP, PKI, certificate management, file and print services, backup, recovery, or disaster recovery experience.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, SAN, NAS, enterprise monitoring, logging, or event management.
• Experience supporting classified systems, national security customers, or mentoring junior administrators.
