What you will do
- Implement and maintain mission-enabling IT systems supporting various programs.
- Perform routine system administration tasks including software/hardware installation, troubleshooting, and OS patching.
- Execute system hardening, vulnerability analysis, and remediation across computing systems.
- Coordinate IT operations activities between program personnel, security teams, and leadership.
- Produce technical documentation following industry best practices.
- Ensure network administration and system compliance across diverse environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience delivering and supporting IT solutions in government accredited program network environments.
- Current TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong familiarity with virtualization, networking, and Microsoft Active Directory services.
- Ability to obtain or possess a DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP).
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external customers to solve critical technical pain points.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks.
- Experience with technical security controls like MFA, PKI, and DLP.
- Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, BASH, and Ansible.
- Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk and vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus or Rapid7.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 control frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a STEM field.
