Principal IT Systems Administrator (Program Services)

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year, based on qualifications, relevant experience, and expertise.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain mission-enabling IT systems supporting programs and customers.
• Install software and hardware, troubleshoot systems, patch operating systems, and perform general network administration.
• Harden systems and conduct vulnerability analysis and remediation across Windows and Linux environments.
• Coordinate IT operations between program personnel, security teams, engineering teams, and leadership.
• Follow established standards and industry best practices while producing technical documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of applicable experience supporting IT solutions in government-accredited program network environments.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization, networking, Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers and deliver technical solutions for critical mission objectives.
• Current TS//SCI clearance required.
• Ability to possess or obtain a DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification, such as Security+ CE or CISSP.
• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems, Cybersecurity, or another STEM field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, MFA, PKI, DLP, NIST 800-53, SIEM tools, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
• Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Experience with Splunk, Nessus, or Rapid7.
