Task Supervisor, Assoc (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Lombard, Illinois, United States; 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Assign and supervise production employees to meet quality requirements and production schedules.
• Set production goals with the first-shift supervisor and organize staffing, workflows, and manpower requirements.
• Enforce safety rules, housekeeping standards, OSHA requirements, PPE practices, and applicable legal standards.
• Inspect parts, implement quality controls, investigate incidents, and take corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, preventive repairs, materials availability, inventory, and cross-functional production support.
• Analyze workflows, address bottlenecks and production disruptions, reduce costs, and drive Lean manufacturing improvements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a similar production supervision role.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Experience or strong commitment to Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and process worksheets and inspect parts.
• Ability to communicate effectively and coach, train, mentor, and evaluate production employees.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift in Lombard, Illinois.
