Fabricating Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Reading, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $85,000–$98,000 per year, plus an annual performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Supervise finishing operations including folding, gluing, waxing, stripping, and bundling.
• Schedule work orders and coordinate production activities with the Production Manager and Shift Supervisor.
• Provide direct oversight, training, performance development, and employee-related recommendations.
• Monitor equipment, materials, production quality, waste control, and departmental safety procedures.
• Analyze production performance, reduce unscheduled downtime, and recommend process and equipment improvements.
• Investigate customer complaints related to finishing quality and report production updates in meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of corrugated manufacturing experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Knowledge of corrugated and packaging manufacturing, equipment, safety practices, continuous improvement, and shop floor software.
• Previous supervisory experience with training, team building, performance development, and conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational, analytical, mechanical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Some college education or manufacturing training.
• Previous experience working as part of a production team.
