Process and Tooling Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

Location: Corvallis, Oregon, United States of America; relocation available; 25% travel.

Salary: $73,800–$113,650 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Design mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, production tooling, and engineering solutions.
• Develop reliable, cost-effective solutions with mechanical engineers and internal and outsourced development partners.
• Implement and validate tests covering tolerances, form, fit, function, shock, vibration, process capability, and design margins.
• Analyze part, tooling, and component failures and determine root causes.
• Build, test, and refine rapid prototypes integrating electrical, mechanical, and software components.
• Manage suppliers and outsourced partners, providing technical guidance on quality, schedules, deliverables, and costs.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 0–4 years of experience in engineering design, process development, or a related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling and CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, machining, injection molding, sheet metal, electromechanics, and prototyping.
• Understanding of Ansys simulation, finite element methods, design for manufacturing, and statistical process control.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.
