Credit Controller - Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Valid UAE work authorization, availability to work in Dubai, and an own UAE resident visa are required.

What you will do

• Maintain customer billing accounts, accounts receivable files, receipts, cash records, and bank deposits.
• Dispatch invoices, follow up on payments, allocate collections, reconcile accounts, and report according to deadlines.
• Prepare and monitor monthly collection cash forecasts and manage outstanding sales balances before they become overdue.
• Monitor payment irregularities and credit limits, perform customer credit checks, and recommend actions for indebtedness and bad debt.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, process adjustments, and communicate with customers through phone, email, mail, or in person.
• Review and improve credit control procedures, support direct payment system development, and pursue outstanding debts where required.

Requirements

• Valid UAE work authorization and an own UAE resident visa are required.
• Availability to work in Dubai is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, collections, or a similar finance role, preferably in a multinational and multicultural environment.
• Required SAP experience and advanced knowledge of finance software, databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English is required. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.
