Accounts Assistant 12 months FTC (SAP)

Salary: £30,000–£33,000 per annum

What you will do

• Process high volumes of purchase invoices and meet daily accounts payable targets.
• Manage VIM automated scanning workflows, resolve exceptions, and follow up with internal departments for approvals.
• Raise accurate accounts receivable invoices and communicate with supplier and customer credit control teams.
• Complete supplier and customer statement reconciliations and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable general ledger codes.
• Post bank statements daily and prepare BACS and supplier payment runs.
• Support month-end close activities and maintain smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in an accounts payable/accounts receivable role.
• Solid working knowledge of SAP.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Completed, current, or planned AAT studies.
