Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Onsite at the BTME Abu Dhabi office, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

What you will do

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices and verify billing information.
• Monitor overdue balances, record and allocate incoming payments, and support collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare aging reports.
• Maintain documentation for receivable transactions and respond to customer invoice and payment inquiries.
• Coordinate with sales, project, and finance teams to resolve billing and account issues.
• Prepare month-end and year-end reconciliations, support audits, and improve accounts receivable controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role.
• Knowledge of UAE and GCC VAT regulations and strong understanding of accounting and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight month-end deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional accounting certifications.
• Experience in multinational, engineering, construction, or project-based organizations.
