Credit Controller

What you will do

• Manage credit and collection activities for the Belux region and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Assess customer creditworthiness, define and monitor credit limits, and track customer exposure and payment behavior.
• Reduce overdue balances and doubtful debts while supporting cash flow and DSO improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and maintain accurate financial and ERP data.
• Support audits and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and governance.
• Drive process improvement and digitalization initiatives while partnering with customers, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in credit control, collections, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English, or the ability to work effectively in a multilingual environment.
• Experience with SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Solution-oriented, collaborative, assertive when needed, and motivated by continuous improvement.
