CNC Operator - Weekday Days

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, weekday day shift

Hourly pay: Level II $24–$33/hour; Level III $28–$38/hour

What you will do

• Operate and set up CNC lathes and 3- or 4-axis milling machines using FANUC, DMG MORI, and Okuma controls.
• Manage work holding, tool kitting, tool touch-offs, and offset establishment.
• Read manufacturing drawings and process sheets, follow programs, and perform first-article inspections.
• Inspect parts during production to monitor dimensional and visual quality.
• Monitor equipment and tooling, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with Quality, Engineering, and other team members.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas and support training for junior team members.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with 3- and 4-axis CNC milling centers, 2-axis and multiaxis machining, and live-tooling lathes.
• Experience with FANUC, DMG MORI, and Okuma controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Ability to work in a team environment with good hand-eye coordination.
• Adherence to health and safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Availability for the weekday day shift: Monday–Wednesday and every other Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Nice to have

• Experience using an offline preset tool for tool offsets.
• Experience with quick-change tooling.
• Advanced Machine Technology course graduation.
• Knowledge of 5S or 6S.
